How To Manifest What You Want: Are you missing out?
There’s a lot of talk at the moment about how to manifest what you want. And if you’ve read my book ‘Rise Again After Divorce’ you’ll know that I speak about how important it is to have a vision for where you want to be. Even if that vision changes over time. You are allowed to change your mind!
As an aside, sometimes I think it can be a good thing that we don’t get always get what we ask for straight away, or we might find ourselves in a lot of situations we don’t after all want to be in.
It can be frustrating though if you have your vision, you’ve set your goals, you’re certain about what you want, but you still find yourself not able to join in this marvellous promised bonanza. You are just not manifesting what you want. A key reason why this might be is how you have worded it. Maybe take another a look and ask yourself, in your aim to be manifesting what you want have you set it out in a positive way or is it a negative one?
For example, maybe you are saying, “I don’t want to be sick anymore”? as opposed to “I want to be well and healthy and live a vibrant life”. The second feels completely different, doesn’t it?
Why does it matter how you word it?
Well, the Universe is very logical and impersonal. It doesn’t matter to it what you say you want, or what you think about, it doesn’t make any judgement about whether things are good or bad. In essence, you will simply get back to you more of what you focus on.
So, if you are focusing on the sickness it will give you more sickness. If you are focusing on how poor you are then you will receive more poverty. That wasn’t the plan, was it? But if you are focusing on health, wellbeing, joy, love, laughter, friends, or feeling affluent, for example, it will give you more of that.
How to manifest what you want
Everything begins as a thought. Look around where you are now and the items surrounding you. For example, someone thought about the chair you may be sitting on, or the desk you are at. It began as a thought, and then they designed it and then manifested it into the material world. We do this all the time, but often don’t realise the process.
So make sure that you are focusing on the positive aspects of what you want, the benefits it will bring you and you will be on your way to nailing manifestation in our life.
